Great weekend for the Fortec team, Draco Marketing partner in the WS Formula V8 3.5 championship, with the win of both podiums. After the good results in the free practice, the two Fortec drivers won both the second row in qualifying 1 with rookie Diego Menchaca in third place, before Alfonso Celis.
In Race 1 Celis conquers the third stage of the podium by getting new precious points for the championship, while Menchaca cuts the finish line into 9th position. In the second qualifying, Celis is placed in the 2nd row and Menchaca in 4th. With the second race, Celis conquers another podium, this time on stage 2, taking third place in the championship at just 2 points from Binder, now 2nd. Menchaca 7th in Race 2, he is currently 8th in the overall standings.
Fortec, who confirms one of the top teams in the championship, will again be on track on 15-16 July at Nurburgring in Germany.
