An amazing weekend for Felipe Drugovich and the MP Motorsport team, Draco Marketing partner, who got off to a good start thanks to 1st place in free practice and 1st place in qualifying!
Drugovich tackled sprint race with the inverted grid at the Jeddah circuit, recovering six positions from the start and finishing in fourth place, then advanced to third place due to the disqualification of Huges. Conquered the podium in the first race of the weekend, Drugovich started from pole position in the Feature Race and drove a regular race always keeping the lead. On lap 9 he anticipated the tire change, then resumed the effective leadership on lap 25 and crossed the finish line first. Drugovich was an MP driver already in 2020 where he had obtained 3 victories as a rookie, then in 2021 he passed to the Virtuosi team he had no longer won.
This year, returning to MP Motorsport, he is pursuing an excellent championship and fighting for the title, currently being the driver with the most points in the standings!
