The Formula V8 3.5 season continues with the Fortec team, Draco Marketing partner, at points with Menchaca and Celis. In the GP of Austin, the Circuit of the Americas, the two Fortec drivers won the 4th row in the first qualifying, while in qualifying 2 Celis got the 6th place in the grid and Menchaca the 8th.
In Race 1 Celis cut the finish line to 6th place, while Menchaca had to make a stop at the box due to some technical problems and he ended ninth. The Mexican of Fortec team, however, made a brilliant race Sunday, where he made several overtakes and managed to win the third stage of the podium, noting his talent that already distinguishes him despite being a beginner.
At this point in the season, Celis is 4th in the championship and Menchaca has recovered to 9th place.
Next stage, the last of the championship, will be the Bahrain circuit on November 17-18.
