A truly exciting weekend at Mugello where Formula 1 competed for the first time and where the Formula 2 and Formula 3 championship races were also held. For Formula 3 it was the last race weekend for this year. The championship was won by Oscar Piastri of the Prema team. MP Motorsport team ended the 2020 season with its three drivers on track: Richard Verschoor in race 1 finished in P12, while in race 2, after an excellent performance, he obtained the 5th position. After Monza world motorsport remains in Italy for a weekend that promises to be spectacular. There is great anticipation for the Mugello GP, where Formula 1 and the two world formulas following the circus will stop for the first time: Formula 2 and Formula 3. The Formula 2 championship has disputed its sixth stage of the season at the Montmélo circuit and the MP Motorsport team took first place on the podium in both races with two different drivers. In Race 1, the most important, which took place on Saturday 15 August, Nobuharu Matsushita started 18th and recovered up to the first position. Part of his victory is due to the team's excellent strategy. The Formula 2 and Formula 3 championships continue this weekend at Silverstone in England. In Formula 2 the MP Motorsport driver Felipe Drugovich took pole position in qualifying and therefore the first position in the race. At the start with hard tires he lost some positions and with the pit stop he went down in the standings, managing to recover up to 7th place, followed by teammate Matsushita 10th.
