Drugovich wins in Montecarlo and he is increasingly the leader of Formula 2!

Another beautiful victory for MP Motorsport driver Felipe Drugovich, this time in the Montecarlo street circuit where Formula 2 raced alongside Formula 1.

Drugovich, a few days after his victories in Barcelona, arrived in the Principality of Monaco and immediately set the fastest lap in free practice. In qualifying, with the drivers split into two groups as usual on this track, Drugovich set a great time, but then hit the barriers and stopped on the straight, setting off the yellow flag. Two riders overtook him in the standings on that lap, but were then penalized by canceling their times for not respecting the rules at that moment on the track. The MP driver then returned to 1st place, taking pole position in race 2.

In race 1 the two MP Motorsport drivers weren’t lucky: Clement Novalak went out because he hit the barriers by another driver, while Durgovich first had a puncture in the right rear tire, then had problems with the speed limiter in the pit- lane got him two penalties. In Race 2, however, everything went smoothly, he started from pole and led the entire race in the lead, winning the first step of the podium.

Felipe Drugovich is now +32 in the overall standings on Theo Pourchaire with an ever stronger leadership!
