Another race of attack for Stéphane Richelmi who won the “Top Ten” at Monza after 21 laps of big battle on track, where he made good overtakings and he has recovered four positions from the start.
At the grid, the Trident driver is 13th, but immediately he gets into the battle with great speed and concentration, recovering two positions in a not easy race given the few laps available and the lack of pit stops. Richelmi overcomes Filippi, winner of yesterday’s race, and then he goes straight to the attack of Canamasas who overtakes in the final laps.
At the finish, the Monegasque driver is 9th, confirming himself to the top 10 drivers on the track. Richelmi now awaits the final round of GP2 in Singapore where the 2012 season will end on the weekend of 22 and 23 September.
