Milos Pavlovic in Slovakia for the sixth round of the FIA GT1 World Championship

It took place in the circuit called Slovakiaring, near the capital Bratislava, the sixth round of the FIA GT1 World Championship on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August. Milos Pavlovic, the Serbian driver followed by Draco Marketing, was on track Friday for the free practice and he has achieved excellent results focusing on the set-up of his Ford GT car of the Sunred team.

Saturday 18 there were the qualifying where Pavlovic, together with Zuber, won the 6th time, getting the 3rd row in the grid. Unfortunately, due to a virus in the throat, the Serbian driver had a high fever that did not allow him to compete in two competitions. Pavlovic is still ready for the next challenge which will be held in Russia on 1 and 2 September.

Milos Pavlovic:

“Our race weekend is started very well, during the free practice we did a great job on the set up of the car. In qualifying we confirmed that, getting the sixth fastest time of the day. A good time considering that we use a car that was three years ago , and therefore it is not at the level of the newcomers BMW or Mercedes. We could fight for the top five places in the two races but unfortunately this did not happen… For the first time in my career, I could not participate in the race for the discomfort caused by a virus in the throat. The medical staff of the circuit looked me and they didn’t give me the ok to drive, given the high fever (40C). I’m regret for this. Now I wait the next appointment at Moscow.”
