Richelmi conquest Silverstone with a great race ended on the 2nd step of the GP2 Series podium. Started from the 5th position, Richelmi immediately pressed the accelerator to try to overtake and go straight to the top of the rankings. The DAMS driver has pursued a steady and fast race and he has recovered position after position, thanks also to a quick pit stop.
After a good fight with Coletti, his fellow citizen in Monaco, Richelmi was able to overtake him and he moved up to 2nd place, then he cut the finish line in the same position. An excellent result for the Monegasque driver who still climbs the overall standings of the championship.
